Claiming & verification
How do I claim my DocSana profile?
Find your profile by searching your name, then tap Claim this profile. You confirm it is really you with a one-time code sent to the email or phone on your practice's public listing — or by verifying your license instead. The moment verification succeeds, your Verified badge appears and the profile is yours to edit.
How long does verification take?
Verification by practice-contact code is instant — the badge shows as soon as you enter the code. If you verify with a license upload, our team reviews it by hand, usually within 1–2 business days, because a human check is the trust anchor of the whole directory. We email you the decision either way.
I can't find my profile. What do I do?
Profiles start from the national provider (NPI) registry. If yours is missing, listed under a former name, or in the wrong city, contact us with your NPI and we will create or correct it.
Why does my profile say “Unclaimed”?
It means the listing was built from public registry data and no one has claimed it yet. Claiming is free, takes a few minutes, and gives you control over everything shown.
Your profile & public information
Where does the information on my profile come from?
Three places: the national provider registry (name, credentials, practice address), your practice's own website, and insurer directories. Every fact we add from public sources keeps its source and the date we checked it. And once you claim your profile, what you enter always wins over anything gathered publicly.
Something on my profile is wrong. How do I fix it?
The fastest fix: claim the profile and edit it — your version replaces the public data. Not ready to claim? Send us the correction through the contact form with your NPI, and we will fix or remove the item.
How do you decide which insurance plans appear on my profile?
Carefully — wrong insurance information wastes everyone's time. A plan we find publicly is displayed only when two sources agree: your practice's own website lists the plan and the insurer's public directory lists you for it, and we stamp the date we last checked. Plans you enter yourself after claiming are shown right away as yours.
Can my profile be removed?
If you have retired, stopped practicing, or a profile belongs to a provider who has passed away, contact us with the NPI and we will suppress the listing. For active practices, listings are built from public records, so instead of deleting them we keep them accurate — anything wrong, we fix fast.
Do you sell provider or patient data?
No. We do not sell data, and we do not invent reviews, ratings, or credentials. Verified means verified — not advertised.
Account & sign-in
How do I sign in?
There is no password to remember: enter your email and we send a 6-digit code. You then stay signed in on that device for 30 days of inactivity (up to 90 days total), so most providers sign in once and stay in.
Can I sign in with Google or Apple?
One-tap social sign-in is being switched on. Until it is live for your account type, email sign-in works the same way and keeps you signed in just as long.
Plans
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free covers the essentials forever: claim and verify your profile, a full profile patients can find in search and matching, the referral board, DocSana Connect, free job postings, and your view counts. Pro adds your own one-page practice website (built automatically from your profile), priority placement in search and matching, the Pro badge, deeper analytics, and founding-member pricing.
How do I get Pro?
Pro is a founding membership while we launch. Send a request from the For Providers page and we will set you up personally — no surprise charges, ever.
Referrals, Connect & Jobs
How do referrals work on DocSana?
Verified providers post what they are accepting on the Referral Board, send referrals directly to colleagues, or pass a referral on when they cannot take it. Patient details are shared only after the patient-consent step, and only with the one verified provider receiving the referral.
What is DocSana Connect?
Our verified-only provider network: colleague discussions, secure provider-to-provider messaging, and supervisor matching. You may post under a nickname if you prefer — your identity is verified on file, shown to moderators only, and never displayed behind a nickname.
How do I post a job opening?
Sign in, open your Dashboard, and choose Post a job — the Jobs pages link straight there. Openings stay live for 30 days. Jobs pulled from public employer feeds always show their source and link out to the original posting.
