Connect your Google Calendar

If you already use Google Calendar

Tap the connect button
On your Manage my listing dashboard, tap Connect Google Calendar. You'll go to Google's sign-in page.

Pick your practice account
Choose the Google account that holds your practice schedule — not a personal one.

Allow free/busy access
Google will ask: "DocSana wants to see when you're free or busy." Tap Allow. That's the only permission we request.

Pick your appointment lengths
Back on DocSana, set your visit types — e.g. New eval 60 min, Follow-up 30 min. We carve bookable slots out of your free time automatically.
🔒 What we can and can't seeWe see only when you're free or busy — green blocks vs. white space. We never see appointment titles, patient names, locations, or notes. You can disconnect anytime from your dashboard.
If your schedule lives somewhere else
Use SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Alma, Headway, or Apple Calendar? Sync it into Google first, then connect:

SimplePractice / TherapyNotes
Both can sync your appointments to Google Calendar (one-way). In SimplePractice: Settings → Calendar → Sync to Google Calendar. In TherapyNotes: Account → Calendar Sync. Then follow the 4 steps above.

Apple Calendar (iPhone/Mac)
On iPhone: Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Google, turn on Calendars. Your Apple events now appear in Google Calendar too.

Alma / Headway / Grow
These platforms don't sync out to Google. Keep your Google Calendar as your source of truth for availability — block the times you're booked elsewhere, and DocSana reads the rest as open.
Troubleshooting

"No openings" but I'm free
Check you connected the right Google account, and that your appointment lengths are set. DocSana needs at least one free block longer than your shortest visit.

Slots disappeared
If Google hasn't synced in 48 hours we hide your slots rather than show stale times — and email you. Reconnect from your dashboard.
